| IMPORTANT: Practice your swing like a pendulum. Perform your back swing and follow through repeatedly, without interruption. Benefits are achieved when you swing slowly. Your downswing and follow-through should be as slow as your back swing. Continue your back and forth repetitions without break or pause. As you practice your swing, visualize the tip of your Swing Wand impacting the ball, transferring your energy into it's trajectory. "Because of its size, you’ll notice there is no “pull” on your swing, as a normal club head and shaft would do. The weight of the Swing Wand is the same as a typical iron. The purpose of exercising with the Swing Wand is to isolate and focus control on your muscles without the influence of an outside force. You want to feel what your muscles and body are naturally doing when you make your swing." Exercise a slow, controlled practice as directed in Instructions and Tips. "You can quickly see your swing tendencies and identify where you may need to modify your muscle control...and you’ll see the tendency your body has in motion." "Focus on control because the only force affecting and directing your “club’s” motion is from your muscles. Practicing consistent repetitions with controlled movement achieves proper form, creates muscle memory and improves your game," "The Grip. The Impact Zone. The Swing Path. The Legs. These are some of the elements of your swing you are beginning to isolate as you practice." "Remember, the slow execution of an action demands more control from the muscles that affect that action. The concentrated conditioning of these muscles creates muscle memory, which contributes to a consistency of movement." To order a Swing Wand, click here. |
